DRAFT for attorney review. These terms are not final and may change before DwellDo launches.
Terms of Service
Draft of October 30, 2026
The short version
DwellDo helps your family keep shared nooks of things to buy and do. Use it for your own household, keep your account safe, and be kind to the people you share it with. Your information stays yours: no ads, no data selling.
These terms are an agreement between you and DwellDo ("we", "us"). [Legal name and address of the business: attorney to confirm.] By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use DwellDo. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
- Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can delete your account any time in the app: Account & privacy → Delete my account.
Households
- A household is shared. Admins can invite and remove people, change roles, and delete the household with everything in it.
- Only invite people you know and trust with your household's nooks. Private nooks are only visible to the person who made them.
- If you leave or are removed, you stop seeing the household's nooks. Items you added to shared nooks stay with the household.
Plans, trials and subscriptions
- Plans: Free, Plus and Family Pro. What each includes, such as the number of shared nooks and of captures a month (a capture is one Quick add or photo read by the AI), is shown on the plans screen in the app. One subscription covers everyone in the household.
- Free trial: new households get Family Pro free for 14 days. No payment details are needed, and when the trial ends the household moves to the Free plan unless someone subscribes.
- Payment: subscriptions are bought through the App Store (or Google Play) and charged to that account when you confirm the purchase. Prices are shown before you buy.
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically for the same period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel any time in your App Store (or Google Play) account settings.
- Refunds: handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Changing plans: if a household moves to a plan with fewer features, nothing is deleted. Some features pause (for example, helpers' access and "Due again soon" suggestions), private nooks you already have stay visible to you, and older purchase history is hidden. Upgrading again brings them back.
- Fair use: even unlimited plans have daily limits on captures, so the service stays fast and affordable for every family.
Using DwellDo fairly
Please don't use DwellDo to break the law, to harass anyone, to store other people's information without a good reason, to try to get into accounts or households that aren't yours, or to overload or copy the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content
What you add to DwellDo (nooks, items, names) is yours. You give us permission to store it and process it only to run DwellDo for your household, as described in the privacy policy. Photos and notes sent to our AI provider to be read are not kept.
The AI can make mistakes
Quick add and Snap use AI to read what you write or photograph. Always check items before adding them, especially dates, times and amounts. Don't rely on DwellDo for anything where a mistake could cause harm, such as medicine doses or safety deadlines.
Changes and availability
- We're always improving DwellDo, so features may change. We'll tell you in the app or by email before changes that affect what you pay.
- We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we'll let you know before they take effect.
- We work hard to keep DwellDo running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Legal bits
- DwellDo is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [Attorney to confirm wording and local consumer-law exceptions.]
- These terms are governed by the laws of [state / country: attorney to confirm].
- If you bought through the App Store, Apple's standard terms for apps also apply, and Apple isn't responsible for DwellDo or for supporting it.
