Common questions
How do I invite my family?
An admin opens Household → Invites → Create, and picks Admin, Member or Helper. Share the 8-character code. It works for 7 days and can be revoked any time.
What's the difference between Admin, Member and Helper?
Admins manage people and invites. Members see and edit the household's lists. Helpers, like a sitter or a cleaner, only see lists shared with them and items assigned to them.
How do Quick add and Snap work?
Type or say a note, like "milk, eggs, dentist Tuesday", or take a photo of a handwritten list, flyer or receipt. DwellDo sorts the items onto the right lists. You check them before anything is added. Photos are never stored.
Why did my checked-off items disappear?
Each list hides checked items after a few days (you choose: 1 to 30 days). They're deleted for good later: 15, 30 or 90 days after they're checked off, depending on your plan.
Can other people see my private lists?
No. Private lists are only visible to you, not even to household admins.
Is there a daily limit on Quick add and Snap?
Yes. Each household gets 50 AI adds a day, including up to 20 photos. You can always add items by hand.
How do I delete my account or my household?
In the app: Household → Privacy & your data. Anyone can delete their account. Admins can delete the whole household and all its data. See the privacy policy for exactly what's deleted.
Does DwellDo show ads or sell my data?
Never. No ads, no data selling. Just your family, organized.
When can I get the app?
DwellDo is coming to iPhone first, and Android is coming soon. Beta sign-ups open on our home page when the app is ready.
